After the first few dates of doing the usual stuff like visiting a bar for a few drinks or going to a restaurant for meal, do you find yourself running out of ideas for the next time? Well, here is a list of 7 fun things that you could do on a budget.
1. If you know your date well enough, you could have a home cooked meal. But, try cooking together in the same kitchen and each cooking a different course. Don’t tell each other what you are making, keep any recipes in your pocket and have some fun guessing what your final meal will be. Decide before the actual day what courses you are each going to cook then you each buy your own ingredients.
2. What about going ice skating – this can be great fun even if neither of you have ever done it before. There will be a lot of giggling and holding on to one another. Remember, it isn’t a competition, so if you are an Olympic standard skater this is probably not such a good idea for you. The idea is to try something together and have fun learning together.

3. If you both enjoy the outdoors, how about taking some horse riding lessons or golf lessons together. Then, when you can master the basics of your chosen activity, you have somewhere else that you can go on your future dates.
4. Another outdoor idea is to join in with a walkers club for a one time outing. Put on the hiking boots and, as long as you have the right gear for the weather that you may encounter, it could be a lot of fun.
5. You could book a back massage for you both at your local beauty parlor – ask to be side by side and enjoy the relaxing massage.
6. Is there a beach near you? Get some friends together, bring a barbecue and a heap of sausages and chicken and have an evening picnic on the beach. A moonlight walk along the beach in bare feet would be a great romantic end to the evening.
7. Do you have a pool in your yard? A moonlight swim together with some soft music playing in the background followed by a meal whilst dressed in your bathrobes is a great way to rekindle a bit of romance in a flagging relationship.
